Hey George is a community café on Goodwood Rd, Adelaide, nestled in a beautiful heritage building.
We were approached by the Hey George team to create a visual identity for their new cafe.
The punchy red colour was inspired by one of the building’s most noticeable, quirky features - a bright red door which greets visitors as they walk in.
As the heritage building was initially used as a schoolhouse, we wanted the Hey George branding to have a playful element to it while also referencing the neighbouring St. George church - so we custom illustrated ‘George the Dragon’ as an accompaniment to the logo.
